The Harrison Family
Five Harrison captains. Five generations of Chesapeake Bay tradition. Each one carries forward the same dedication, Eastern Shore hospitality, and passion for putting fish in the boat that Capt. Buddy built his legend on.

"Little Buddy"
Born and raised on Tilghman Island, Capt. Buddy Jr. grew up fishing the Chesapeake Bay from the time he could hold a rod. He spent his life running the family businesses — Harrison's Chesapeake House and the sport fishing operation on Tilghman Island — and today he continues that legacy as the owner of Harrison's Harbour Lights restaurant in St. Michaels. A true entrepreneur, he also operates a crew boat business supporting marine construction and dredging operations across the Bay. A proud family man and grandfather, Capt. Buddy Jr. brings more than half a century of Chesapeake Bay fishing experience to every trip.

Born and raised on Tilghman Island, Capt. Chuck Harrison has spent his life on the water in every capacity imaginable — from fishing boats and duck hunting rigs to a 1,000-plus horsepower Midnight Express. He has captained the legendary Capt. Buddy, a 65-foot Chesapeake-built vessel that was once among the largest charter fishing boats on the Bay. A family man and grandfather, Capt. Chuck brings more than half a century of fishing experience with the Harrison sport fishing operation, and his knowledge of the Chesapeake is second to none.

Born and raised on Tilghman Island, Capt. Beau Harrison has been fishing and working in the family business his whole life. During the week you might catch him on the sidelines — Beau films Baltimore Orioles and Ravens interviews and games for WBAL-TV. On the weekends, he's back where he belongs: on the Chesapeake Bay running fishing charters. A devoted father, Capt. Beau brings the same energy and professionalism to the water that he brings to the broadcast booth.

Capt. Chase Harrison has been fishing and working in the family business his entire life. A family man with three boys, during the week he serves as a Chesapeake Bay tugboat captain — navigating the rugged, demanding waters of the Barren and Poplar Islands Restoration Projects, and piloting vessels from the C&D Canal all the way down to the shipyards of Norfolk, Virginia, covering the full length of the Bay. He has navigated these waters year-round through snow, rain, wind, and every condition the Chesapeake can throw at a captain. On the weekends, he trades the tug for the Brooks Hooks and puts his guests on fish. Chase's deep-water seamanship and lifelong knowledge of the Bay make him one of the most capable captains on the water.

Brooks is a full-time member of the Howard County Fire Department — a testament to the same dedication and grit he brings to everything he does. A proud father of three girls, Capt.
